Occasional Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of the Far East will be held on Saturday, 16 November 2024 at Zetland Hall at 4:30 pm for the installation of RW Bro Frederick Leung as our new Provincial Grand Master.
Lodges under the Provincial Grand Lodge of the Far East
In Hong Kong all seven Lodges that are warranted to meet under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Ireland are represented by the Provincial Grand Lodge of the Far East. This Provincial Grand Lodge was petitioned for in 1988, and prior to this all Irish Lodges in Hong Kong came under the Inspectorate District of the Far East.

Lodge Erin No. 463
Lodge Erin No. 463 was warranted in 1919 to meet in Shanghai, became dormant during the Pacific War and was transferred
to Hong Kong in 1952. -
Shamrock Lodge No. 712
The Lodge was constituted on the 8th March 1947, to meet in Hong Kong, the Lodge’s Stated Communications are on the
second Wednesday of February, March (Installation), April, May, September, October, November and December. -
Emerald Lodge of Hong Kong No. 883
The Lodge was constituted on the 29th September 1981. The Stated Communications of the Lodge are on the fourth Friday of January, March, May, September, October (Installation) and November, and on the fourth Tuesday of June.

Sino Lusitano Lodge of Macau No. 897
The Lodge was warranted on 2nd June 1988 to meet either at Victoria, Hong Kong or Macau. The stated communications of
the Lodge are on the third Saturday of February and May, the second Thursday of June, July and August, the fourth Saturday
of October and the first Monday of December, with the Installation communication in June. -
Lodge St. David No. 903
The Lodge was constituted on the 14th March, 1990, as a working Lodge but with a distinct bias towards Masonic Musical Research. The stated communications are in the months of January, March, May, June (installation), August, September and November.

Baden Powell Lodge No. 929
The Lodge was warranted on 7th October 1995 and constituted on 22nd of April 1996 by the M.W. Bro. Grand Master the
M.W. Bro. Darwin H. Templeton CBE FCA, to meet in Hong Kong. -
Arthur Gomes Lodge of Installed Masters No. 1001
The Lodge was constituted on 18th December 1998. The Stated Communications of the Lodge are on the first Tuesday of January, February, April, May, June (Installation) and October.
Chapters under District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the Far East I.C.
In Hong Kong all three Royal Arch Chapters that are warranted to meet under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Ireland are represented by the District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the Far East Irish Constitution. This District Grand Royal Chapter was constituted in 2017, and prior to this all Irish Royal Arch Chapters in Hong Kong came under the Provincial Grand Superintendency of the Far East.

Emerald Royal Arch Chapter No. 712
The Chapter was warranted on the 10th March 1955, to meet at Victoria, Hong Kong. It meets on the third Thursday of
January (Installation), and the last Fridays of June (Mark) and August (Royal Arch). -
Bauhinia Royal Arch Chapter No. 322
With the continuing expansion of Irish Craft Masonry over past decades from the original two lodges to the present seven, it
has long been a concern that the one existing Royal Arch Chapter was insufficient to provide for the increasing numbers of Master Masons in the Craft. -
Baden Powell Royal Arch Chapter No. 929
The new Chapter will provide opportunity for more Brethren to advance their Masonic career and benefit from the further mysteries of Royal Arch Masonry.
Knight Masons
Hamilton Council of Knight Masons No.67 was constituted on Friday 21st October 1960 under warrant from Grand Council of Knight Masons. In January 2017, two sister councils, Erin Council of Knight Masons No.113 and Adelphi Council of Knight Masons No. 118 were constituted in Singapore.

Hamilton Council No. 67
Hamilton Council of Knight Masons No.67 was constituted on Friday 21st October 1960 under warrant from Grand Council of Knight Masons. The name of the Council was taken after Very Excellent Sir Knight Hans A.A. Hamilton who was in the Chair of Persia Council No.8 of Knight Masons in 1936.

Adelphi Council No. 118
A delphi Council of Knight Masons No.118 was constituted and dedicated on 19 September 2020 under warrant from Grand Council of Knight Masons. R.E. Sir Knight Brendan S.C. Bong was the Great Chief designate to conduct the ceremony with
dignity and honour.
